Reagan Leadership Center


The Reagan Leadership Center is an immersive, game-based simulation that builds leadership and communication skills for participants of all ages. Two simulation experiences are offered for your group: Operation Urgent Fury (grades 5-12) or Operation KAL 007 (high school, university, and professional level).

Both simulations are offered in an on-site experience at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

  On-Site Experience

Your on-site visit includes a mission briefing, a tour of the museum and Air Force One, and seating during lunchtime under the wings of Air Force One (students bring their own lunch in a disposable container).

Operation Urgent Fury is geared towards grades 5-8 and Operation KAL 007 is geared towards high school, university, and professional level. Please select the simulation experience that fits your grade level during the booking process.

Fee

The fee for both Operation Urgent Fury (grades 5-8) and Operation KAL 007 (high school, university and professional level) is $799 per group, $1400 for two groups, and $1800 for three groups.

Schedules

On-site simulation experiences are currently only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

  • Minimum time needed for both simulations (Operation Urgent Fury and KAL 007) is 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Maximum time allowed for field trip is 4 hours.
  • Both simulations require a minimum of 10 and maximum of 45 students per rotation. Maximum total class capacity for one day is 135 students (or 3 rotations).
  • Museum tours do not include special exhibit access. Call Visitor Services at 805-577-4066 for pricing and booking for special exhibits.
Payment Policy

$20 non-refundable deposit per group is required at booking to reserve your field trip date. Final payment is due no later than 2 weeks prior to your scheduled field trip date.

Please be advised that cancellations made up to 2 weeks before your scheduled field trip via email to leadershipcenter@reaganfoundation.org or phone call to 805-577-4180 will be refunded minus the $20 deposit.

Cancellations made after the two-week period but before your field trip up to 48 hours before will receive a 50% refund minus the $20 deposit.

No refund will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled field trip.
